Defence Digital is a part of Strategic Command and has an important role within the Ministry of Defence in the age of information warfare. Led by the Chief Information Officer (CIO) the Defence Digital organisation is responsible for making sure that effective digital and information technology is put into the hands of the military and business front line. The Innovation team have a critical role in driving rapid technological adoption through engagement with stakeholders in industry, government, academia and partner nations. The work of the team supports defensive cyber strategy, capability development, acquisition and policy.
